Feudo Pajara - Trulli Salentini

Feudo Frammasi is an "enclave" between the municipalities of Salve and Morciano di Leuca, on the Ionian side of the lower Salento area, in the province of Lecce. Set on a hillside with a sea view—just over a kilometre from the coast—it is immersed in a hectare of olive trees and Mediterranean scrub, protected by dry-stone walls and prickly pears. Today the site is a charming and characteristic complex of three residences consisting of "pajare" and "liame" (traditional dry-stone dwellings), dating back to the late sixteenth century.
